Email welcome journeys

If your first question is, "What's an email welcome journey?" then you're in the right place! An email welcome journey is a series of messages sent to a supporter immediately after they take an action with you. Research shows that the window of time immediately following one of these actions is the absolute best time to contact someone.

During this session, we'll introduce you to the effectiveness of automated email welcome journeys and everything you need to know to set one up. We'll share the best practices on when you should trigger emails and what content you should include to engage with your donors meaningfully, with some examples of successful welcome journeys we've launched. You'll leave this session with ideas, inspiration, and an outline for your first welcome journey.

This is your chance to draw people into your story, validate their decision to take action with you, and turn them into loyal ambassadors for your brand. Get started today and let these automated journeys work their magic!

Founder and CEO

The Purpose Collective

I'm the founder and CEO of the Purpose Collective, a consulting firm that helps social good organizations elevate their cause. One of my strengths is digital marketing, from websites to social media to email marketing. I recently spent five years working for an international NGO based in Nepal, and I grew their social media following by 2600% and tripled the size of their supporter database. If there are any organizations who want help getting their story out to a wider audience, or who want to have a more engaging social media presence, I'd love to talk to them. One of my other loves is databases (CRMs). I'm a big data geek, and I'm always crunching numbers and studying spreadsheets. I love putting systems into place and automating processes that result in better engagement with supporters, happier teams on the ground, and more effective use of staff time all around. I thrive on cleaning up clunky systems and helping teams resolve pain points with their technology. I'm a former rugby player and I live in Boulder, Colorado.
