JOHN KENYON is a nationally recognized educator and strategist for nonprofits. Most recently focused on racial equity work in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector, he is a graduate of "Unconscious Whiteness in Philanthropy". John is currently working primarily at the intersection of justice and technology with a focus on AI, supporting organizations on their racial justice journey. With a background in technology, communications, strategic planning, and education, John has worked with nonprofits for over 25 years providing advice, teaching seminars and writing articles. He is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco and Sonoma State University. A longtime volunteer and former Education Director for NTEN, contributor to NTEN's Managing Technology to Meet your Mission, John first attended and spoke at NTC in 2004. Recent keynotes include the Alliance for Children and Families’ Executive Leadership Institute and the Stanford Social Innovation Review’s Nonprofit Management Institute.
