Software consultant

Ready to have real impact as a software consultant? If you have 2-3 years as an in-house CRM admin or consultant with expertise in Salesforce NPSP and/or Raiser’s Edge, we’d like to meet you! We’re working (remotely!) with nonprofit organizations and foundations across the US to plan, implement, and optimize their software ecosystems to have the greatest impact possible. In this time where resources are increasingly scarce, organizations can’t afford to be inefficient and are turning to folks like us to help them make the best decisions and use their software to its full advantage.

We’re not like other consulting firms – we are an independent shop, which means that we work with a wide range of software tools, and we do not accept referral fees from any software partner program. This independence allows us the freedom to help our clients make the best software choices for their org, without worrying about any incentives. We have many options at our disposal, and can help our clients select and implement what will work best for them, balancing functionality, cost, and complexity. Our consultants have a wide variety of opportunities:

• Get in on a new build! There’s nothing quite like getting in on the ground floor with a new implementation. With these projects, W4Sight leads the app selection, configuration, data conversion, training, and setup/governance of the entire Salesforce environment.
• Create order from chaos! W4Sight is frequently called in to assess existing databases and come up with an overhaul plan – often after a staff transition or a period without a dedicated admin team. These orgs need many of the same things as a new build, with the added challenge of managing current production work while delivering the changes.
• Build on initial success! W4Sight helps nonprofits expand on their initial foundation, incorporating new business processes or re-configuring existing setup to accommodate changing requirements.

Who we’re looking for:

If you have a passion for helping nonprofits and foundations do their best work, you’re in the right place. Willingness to dive in and develop expertise in our clients’ business processes is a must. Skills and experience you must have:

• Interest in working with a wide range of tools – this is not a “Salesforce only” or “Raiser’s Edge only” role, but expertise with one of those two solutions is needed.
• Perspective to implement simple solutions whenever possible, and complex solutions only when needed.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects, working as part of a team. You will be responsible for collaborating with the project manager to deliver success – completing configuration, data conversion, documentation, and training – as part of our team.
• Be a self-starter committed to ongoing learning and keeping up with new apps and industry advancements.
