Position Description
The Develop Liaison is responsible for being the main point of contact and subject matter expert for Develop™, Minnesota’s Quality Improvement and Registry Tool. In this role, the person is responsible for working with the Child Care Aware system function areas and tracking successes, challenges, needs, and wishes for Develop™, facilitate testing functionality or fixes, and coordinating the Develop Advocates and Child Care Aware system staff to ensure Develop™ is functioning properly and is user friendly.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Serves as the Develop subject matter expert for the Child Care Aware Coordinating Office.
· Maintain current knowledge of Develop database technology and understand current Develop functionality in detail, including different functions by user type and system function areas
· Participate in meetings with DCYF Develop Staff to collaborate and gather information that will benefit all Develop users
· Support DCYF Develop staff during planning and implementation stages for new functionality, enhancements, or fixes of Develop. This will include participating in meetings with New World Now (Develop software vendor) as well as testing updates, functionalities, fixes and enhancements using the test website
· Maintain and coordinate Develop user access of CO staff, collecting and maintaining user agreements, and maintaining the Develop Organization Profile
2. Coordinate and participate in meetings to gather input and feedback from staff regarding Develop.
· Facilitate meetings with Child Care Aware Coordinating Office function areas and the Develop Advocates to discuss end user experiences, track successes, challenges, needs/wishes, and propose solutions for Develop
· Coordinate and partner with Develop Liaisons from other grantees to strategize or coordinate on behalf of staff and end users and to share problems and solutions
· Utilize Zendesk to submit Develop tickets and prioritize urgent requests related to time sensitive professional development needs including but not limited to earning a Parent Aware Rating, resolving Parent Aware incompletes, licensing requirements and language specific issues
· Participate in meetings with DCYF and software vendors to understand upcoming software changes and deadlines for new or updating functionalities with Develop
3. Effectively communicate and disseminate information about Develop.
· Work in collaboration with the Develop Administrator and the Develop System Specialist to finalize drafts
· Review, create, and make edits to existing Develop user guides, and documents related to functionalities and share with system function users
· Work in collaboration with the Develop System Specialist and the Develop Administrator to ensure timeliness of responses with the dissemination and receival of all staff edits and reviews for changes needed with Auto-Emails
· Communicate outages, updates, and other important Develop information to system users
4. Support the organization’s mission, vision, strategic plan, and anti-racism goals by participating in activities and professional development opportunities.
· Participate in staff meetings, workgroups, or taskforces to assist with achieving the organization’s goals.
· Assist Child Care Aware with implementing the organization’s strategic plans by embedding the goals into everyday work.
· Participate in professional development activities to strengthen your understanding and skills around diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with the Develop™ database
· Working knowledge of Child Care Aware of Minnesota programs and services
· Experience coordinating projects and working with multiple stakeholders
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to use plain language to share information
· Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with and partner with others
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated intercultural competency skills and experience working cross-culturally, with experience incorporating the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion into your work
Working Conditions
· Full-time, non-exempt
· Flexible scheduling, family-friendly work culture

· May require sitting or stationary position for extended periods
· Occasional travel within the metro area
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range
· Hiring range is $54,849.60 – $67,184.00 depending on qualifications, plus an additional $2,000/year for lifestyle (pro-rated for part-time employees)
