Nonprofits frequently wonder how other organizations manage data collection and security and what policies they have in place to manage them.
In 2020, we conducted the first Data Empowerment Survey and published the corresponding report. Two years later, with a number of shifting factors for the nonprofit sector in the U.S. and beyond, we were curious about what may have stayed the same or changed with data collection, management, and use.
Now, we have launched the 2024 Data Empowerment Survey. We’re seeking your valuable insights on how your organization stores and manages its data. Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the future of data use across the nonprofit sector. The results will be compiled into a comprehensive report set to be released in early 2025.
The survey consists of 40 questions, including some about general organizational information, and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Your time and input are greatly appreciated!
