Meet the fellows

Natali Betancur is the Deputy Director at the Center for Digital Equity at Queens University of Charlotte, where she leads strategic planning and operational oversight across the organization’s initiatives. Her work supports programs such as the Digital Navigator service, helping residents connect to essential digital tools. Previously, she served as Senior Business Manager for Mecklenburg County, leading a finance and strategy team focused on data and communications projects—one of which earned a NACo Achievement Award and led to her speaking at the 2021 Women in Data Science Conference at UNC Charlotte. Natali has volunteered with organizations including the Salvation Army Advisory Board. She currently serves on the board of Women in Agile and is a Certified Agile Leader. Originally from Colombia, she is fluent in Spanish and brings a personal perspective shaped by the immigrant experience and a strong understanding of language and literacy challenges.
