TechImpact Project
The TechImpact Project is a research project that will measure the effect of technology assistance on nonprofits. By strengthening the evaluation capacity of the nonprofit sector, we hope technology providers will be equipped to supply nonprofits with technology that works towards their missions more efficiently, effectively, and with measurable outcomes.

Read Results of Technology Provider Survey
In late 2006 we surveyed tech providers across the country - the first step in the TechImpact Project meant to help us understand what technology assistance means for nonprofit capacity. We asked, who is providing technology assistance to nonprofits, what services do they provide, what approaches they use, and more. Read the results.

Behind the Scenes
As two of the leaders in the nonprofit technology world, NTEN and NPower have joined forces to spearhead the TechImpact Project and get to the bottom of how technology impacts nonprofit organizationss. The evaluation process is designed by the independent consulting firm TCC Group and the entire process is guided by our Steering Committee and our Advisory Group. Support from our funders makes this project possible.
