Job Details
Responsibilities of the Associate will include but are not limited to:
- Managing and ensuring exceptionally reliable internet, email, and network functions and internal IT/tech support for AF’s Connecticut charter schools
- Providing technical support for servers, LAN, wireless LAN, PCs, printers, and VOIP phones
- Managing and supporting Achievement First’s Student Information System (Infinite Campus database)
- Working in conjunction with Achievement First’s IT Team Leaders to maintain network and infrastructure used across two states and twelve locations
- Training teachers in computer use and software programs
- Working with vendors to ensure exceptionally reliable operations
- Monitoring budget/ordering/receiving for the Information Technology team
Skills and Characteristics
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, databases, Microsoft Office
- Previous hands-on technical support experience (hardware and software)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, self-starter, able to work independently
- Preferred hands-on system administration or networking experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree from a competitive college or university
- 1-5 years of work experience
