Web Development & Technology Associate Internship

Arts Engine, a nonprofit organization committed to the use of media for social change, is seeking an intern to work in its department of Technology & Online Programs. This intern would work on several projects including, but not limited to, creating an internal wiki for organization-wide use, using publicly available APIs to create dynamic web applications for internal and external use, and developing thorough documentation around existing projects. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented and comfortable working independently on a variety of projects.

Requirements:

• Must be adept at using Macintosh computers
• Must have programming experience (Computer Science majors preferred)
• Experience developing using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) is preferred.
• Proficiency using HTML and CSS
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
