100% online course - Fundraising Management examines how fundraising fits into nonprofit management as a whole. The course enables you to identify board, staff and volunteer roles and responsibilities, assess an organization's readiness to begin the fundraising process, assess long-range fundraising strategies and develop ways to monitor progress that will guide a nonprofit organization toward creating a sustainable fundraising effort. This intensive five-week course explores the following topics: What has to be in place before you raise money? Identifying and assessing external factors for success Developing a fundraising plan - Assessing strategies From planning to implementation - Managing the unexpected Evaluating your plan and staying on track - Creating a sustainable effort Special features: enjoy a digital video presentation and follow up dialogue on the funder's perspective; links to useful Web sites on fundraising for nonprofit organization; small group projects with nonprofit practitioners from diverse geographic areas.
