Hot or Not? Rank Your CMS Vendor
The survey is now closed. Thank you to all who participated. We should have the final report out in June 2008. If you've ever used a Content Management System, we want you to share your opinion. Building on the success of our 2007 CRM Satisfaction Survey, NTEN is gathering information from the NPTech community about CMS providers. Tell us what you love -- and what frustrates, irks, and just generally annoys you -- and we'll compile the results into a handy report. This short survey will deliver both quantitative and qualitative results to you. The more people who participate, the better the results will be, so please take just a few minutes to share your experiences. And since the results will be valuable to the nonprofit community as a whole, we're pretty sure taking the survey counts as work. Survey responses are anonymous. Survey respondents will receive a complete copy of the results, when available. If you have any questions, please send me an email: holly@nten.org.

I have tried every open source CMS out there, there is no support, upgrade patches, or inter graded options out there that offer the same benefits as Aspiresoft. Just in the time saved not having to build my own site their CMS paid for itself twice and if I want to add anything to my site (on-line donations, next month) I make one call and its live...
They even gave us a discounts because we are a nonprofit.
I can't say enough good things about them.
Thanks for the feedback. For the purposes of this survey, we decided not to include CMSs that are primarily identified as blogging, wiki, or other web content tools. We will revisit our list when we run the survey again in 2009.
We use WordPress and MediaWiki as our CMS. WordPress for timely information, and MediaWiki for static information.
Neither qualify as CMS in the survey..

What a great initiative, there are so many CRM providers that it really is a jungle. This can save everybody a lot of time, fustration and money.
