Last Call for Entries for the NTC Video Contest
Go ahead, put the final touches on your entries for the NTC Video Contest! All submissions are due by midnight on Sunday, March 11.
Do you have videos on YouTube or other video hosting sites that urge people to take action for social change? Submit them now to enter the video contest. Or have you been pondering an idea for a short video that will advance a cause you support? Here’s your chance to bring it to a larger audience. Finalist videos will be aired at the Nonprofit Technology Conference and the grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2008 NTC in New Orleans! Find out more about the NTC Video Contest and how you can participate.
We’re looking for videos and animations that mobilize people to take action and change the world. Entries should make an impact on their viewers (and show that video can be a powerful tool for the nonprofit sector) and can be on pretty much anything – activism, public health, economic development, the arts, or wherever your interest lies. If you want to participate, read our contest guidelines and rules and get started.
We’ll show all finalist entries at Movie Night during the Nonprofit Technology Conference, so if you’re attending stop by and watch your colleagues’ productions. After we’ll show the documentary Hacking Democracy, which will be followed by a discussion with activist Bev Harris from Black Box Voting. Later in the conference we’ll announce the NTC Video Contest grand prize winner.
Special thanks to See3 for sponsoring the contest.

I am sorry I missed this contest - I just found it today, 2 weeks after it closed. I would have posted it for everyone at www.vidopp.com, my blog that lists all the video contests on the internet.
