NTEN community member Grassroots.org wants to celebrate the ingenuity and innovativeness of the nonprofit sector with a new award, the Techies. Every day, nonprofits are building their own web-based tools to help them do their work better. And we think you should be recognized!

The Techies will honor six nonprofit organizations in recognition of their pioneering contributions in nonprofit online applications development. Candidate organizations must be engaged in web application development work that significantly enhances the capacity of the nonprofit sector.

The Techies will be presented at the Awards Ceremony of the NTC on April 6, 2007.The is the premier gathering for collaborators, colleagues, and clients in the nonprofit and technology sectors to share resources and learn about what works, what doesn't work, and what is in the works when it comes to using technology to help make the world a better place.
