I <3 Gabbly

Gabbly My favorite thing that I've discovered at the NetSquared conference so far is Gabbly. We've had some very funny backchannel conversations throughout the event, as well as some meaningful ones. You'll definitely see this (or something like it) integrated into the NTC and other N-TEN events soon.

One side note: it was interesting to see that most of the "gabblers" were women. I wonder what that says? Ruby Sinreich is sitting next to me and asserts that the reason is that these tools are exactly suited to how women interact - socially, in a flat environment, sharing stories etc. Are there tech tools for women and tech tools for men?

I actually got that idea from what someone said in the session on gender at NetSquared. Blogged by me and Tim here: http://lotusmedia.org/lessons-learned http://netsquared.org/blog/tim-bishop/notes-on-gender-and-the-social-web-session

But it makes a lot of sense to me.
